Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you buy from Clevedon Road R&D Limited, Auckland, New Zealand. Last updated 9 September 2026.
What you are buying
You buy a digital download. For 2KXL PLUS that is an unofficial, experimental third-party operating system for the Akai MPC2000XL. It is not an official Akai product. We are not Akai Professional and Akai does not endorse this software.
Price and tax
Prices are in US dollars. Stripe calculates tax from the billing address you give at checkout. You pay the total Stripe shows before you confirm.
Payment
Payment is by Stripe. The charge on your statement should show as Clevedon Road or a close form of that name. After payment we record the order and email a download link to the address you give.
Delivery
Delivery is the download email and the download page after payment. There is no physical shipment. If the email does not arrive, use Recover download or write to hello@clevedonroad.com.
Risk
You install the software yourself. It can have bugs. Keep a copy of the stock OS. We sell 2KXL PLUS as-is and, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for faults or damage from install or use.
If you are a consumer in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 may give you rights we cannot take away. Nothing on this site limits those rights.
Licence
The software licence is on the Licence page. Refunds are on the Refunds page.
Law
New Zealand law governs these terms. New Zealand courts can hear disputes, without limiting any right you have to use a court where you live if the law requires it.
