This licence is from Clevedon Road R&D Limited to you, the buyer. Last updated 9 September 2026.

What you may do

You may install 2KXL PLUS on Akai MPC2000XL machines you own or control, for your own music work. This purchase includes later 2KXL PLUS 1.x updates we publish for download.

What you may not do

• Sell, rent or publish the files
• Share the ZIP or signed download link as a public download
• Say the software is an official Akai operating system
• Remove copyright notices

Ownership

Clevedon Road R&D Limited owns the 2KXL PLUS code bytes (not the original OS 1.2 bytes) and the shop assets we created. You buy a licence, not the copyright. Third-party and open-source parts, if any, stay under their own licences and will be listed in the ZIP when they apply.

Trademarks

Akai, MPC and MPC2000XL are trademarks of their owners. We use those names only to say what hardware this software works with. Clevedon Road is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Akai Professional.

Warranty

We supply the software as-is, to the extent the law allows. New Zealand consumers keep any rights the Consumer Guarantees Act gives them.
